Building Community Through Craft is back and this workshop feels like the perfect way to welcome the changing season 🌿

Join us September 20th for an afternoon of plant pressing and botanical art with Christina M. Selby of Eufloria Botanic Art I Christina Selby !

Using late-season flowers and native grasses, Christina will guide you through pressing, compositions mounting and specimen labeling. You’ll create two mounted botanical designs using her pre-pressed flowers, and prepare flowers of your own to take home and open a few weeks later 🌸

Canyon Road Summer Walks, workshops at the gallery, new pieces arriving, familiar faces stopping by, meeting new ones at the events in Santa Fe, and so many moments shared in community.

Knowledge passed from mother to daughter, family practices continued through generations, ancestral techniques given new forms, and cultural stories kept present through contemporary work.

Each practice has its own story, and each artist has their own way of carrying it forward. That’s something we feel very lucky to share at Cielo 🤎
