risto Arts & Culture exists to encourage community involvement in the pursuit of good, truth and beauty. SCAC seeks to inspire and involve artists and art lovers in events and activities that are uplifting and that promote the spirit of community. SCAC values and promotes involvement in the creative process and especially encourages cultural expression while holding to a Biblical Worldview in all things. SCAC believes the pursuit of these things will result in blessings for individuals and for the city of Santa Fe. Objectives
• Community – Hold casual gatherings where people can communicate freely, feel welcome and included. Build a community of artists and art lovers.
• Encourage artistic expression – Hold events that provide opportunity for artistic expression and a platform for developing and professional artists.
• Establish a Center - Proceed with the legal documents, personnel recruitment, organization and fundraising needed to open a permanent home for Sangre de Cristo Arts and Culture and its activities.
• Celebrate the Uniqueness of Cultures – Display art and hold events that help us all appreciate and understand better the diversity and creativity that is unique to people groups of the world.
• Bless the City of Santa Fe – Present truth, beauty and grace to the residence and visitors of Santa Fe so that they may better understand Jesus’ statement in John 10:10 “The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life - - Life in all its fullness.”
