Happy ! Carlos here ~ If you’re looking to invest in an incredible organization before the end of the year, I’d love you to consider the International Children’s Media Center. There’s still time to donate!

ICMC does an extraordinary program for children called Screen Smart, teaching kids to be self-aware, compassionate and thoughtful when using screens. Taught in impoverished schools, the program not only teaches children healthy tech practices, but accelerates student learning overall. Led by the incredibly passionate Nicole Dreiske, you will be thrilled to know your donation is being put to great use for the betterment of the next generation.

Their social media page and website gives you a closer look at why teachers love the program.

The is in dire need of funds this year. We would be so very grateful if you could make a tax-deductible contribution and share this information with friends who care about ending the mental health epidemic caused by screen use.

Thank you, my friend, for your generosity and kindness. I know you’ll do what you can!

Gratefully,

The Black Orchestral Network’s Day of Solidarity took place on Monday, January 29th. We stand in SOLIDARITY with them ✊🏾

: This is a call to action! We are deeply concerned because the American orchestral community REMAINS unwell. Significant barriers to inclusion, inequities intreatment, and lack of transparency in the tenure process persist, leaving too many talented, well/deserving, highly-trained Black musicians devalued ,excluded and jobless. Our call for justice and equal treatment is urgent.

We call on American orchestras to give Black orchestral musicians the tenure they deserve;;to commit to transparent and objective tenure processes and to adopt equitable tenure practices in your collective bargaining agreements. WE STAND IN SOLIDARITY with the ✊🏾 There is no American orchestra without Black orchestral musicians.

👉🏾 Calling EVERYONE to raise your voice!! RE-POST THIS GRAPHIC TO YOUR TIMELINE IN SOLIDARITY, then SIGN THE PETITION HERE TODAY:
