Hi all, we're beginning the effort to collect a location record of as much of Tigre's work as we can find.
There are a bunch of ideas around what will happen with it... Books, gallery shows, documentaries, and etcetera... But first we need to figure out where it's all located.

Please fill this form out if you have any of Tigre's work and then share it with the world. We'll let you know what next steps look like once we have an idea of what's out there.

We ask our community to join us this weekend for the services, remembrance, and celebration of Tigre Mashaal-Lively.

If you are planning on attending the funeral service on Friday, Oct. 7th, there is a mask requirement.

We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from everyone. Please be patient with us, as we take time to respond to messages.

It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that on the night of October 1, 2022, beloved Santa Fe artist and community activist Tigre Mashaal-Lively (Jami Lewis Marshall-Lively) left this world of their own volition to travel to the next realm of their being.

Tigre dedicated their life to the joyful pursuit of dance, artistic creation, unabashed self expression and social justice.

This brings up a well of grief for the loss of such a cherished and bright light that shone as only Tigre could. We are asking everyone to join us in holding this event with grace, forgiveness, and absolute trust in Tigre’s Spirit.

Tigre leaves behind their mother Linda Marshall, their father Donald Lively, their partner Jhana Goldenflame, their cat IshqAllah, their family and community in Santa Fe, New Mexico as well as the uncountable friends and loved ones all over the world.

The memorial service will take place in Santa Fe at the Rivera Funeral Home this Friday Oct 7th at 10am. The service will take place in the chapel and is open to all. Masks will be required. There will be a reception to follow that day. Additional gatherings in Santa Fe will also occur on Saturday and Sunday, details to follow.

As the dust continues to settle, we are still slowly gathering ourselves from the intense journey that was creating
Bringing that piece to life in the extra wild conditions of the playa was a gargantuan effort, and I am so beyond proud of the crew and everyone who came together and gave so much to this insane vision.
Watching the tender, vulnerable way that people engaged with the work was deeply moving.
Infinite THANK YOUs to everyone who pitched in to bring this project into being. Burning Man art like this ONLY gets created through the engagement of a community and we are forever grateful to all who contributed to this project through donations, volunteering, and sharing the project across networks.

Please Know: we have yet to hit our funding goal for creating this project and getting it to this year.
Many of the costs required by this huge effort were generously (but temporarily) covered by individual members of the team.
The team is still in debt and we need YOUR SUPPORT to recover and be able to look toward continuing to share this powerful project with the world.
