Santa Cruz Beach Soccer Championships is one of the greatest soccer weekends in Northern California on the beautiful Main Beach in Santa Cruz, California. Soccer enthusiasts come from all over the world to join our family run weekend for youth and adults behind the world famous, number one and top rated amusement park, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We invite you to join us from wherever you are

in the world to be a part of this exciting event. Many photographers, videographers, soccer players, painters, club presidents and many more have graced our annual tournament. Phil Scicluna co-founded the first beach soccer tournament in Northern California in 2004 to offer a weekend long event that is fun, competitive and accepting of everyone who has the aptitude for a good time.

The beach soccer tournament will be held at a different date due to the rise of Covid 19 cases. We would very much like to have the tournament that has so much positive energy and community but the risks are overwhelming. Thank you for your understanding, hopefully children 12 and under will have vaccination options soon and sports can have a full recovery.✊💪🙏

Hello SCBSC Beach Soccer Fans,
It is with sadness to announce the time for us to join in good play and fun will not happen; most likely for the summer. The City of Santa Cruz has unofficially stated that sports are unlikely to happen this year. Are you hearing anything different in your community sports circles? If so, let us know! We will miss the bicycle kick training, the exciting, high quality sportsmanship and of course the opportunity to get to know and build on the joy of beach soccer in Santa Cruz. All the best to you and yours and we look forward to providing a tournament for you as soon as possible. Please continue to check us out on fb if there is a change, it will be here first.

Hi Beach Soccer Fans- City of SC will make an announcement about social distancing on May 3rd. The beach is now open again so fingers crossed as we are excited for more positive news. Once we get the all clear registration will open! Be safe and thank you to all wwho have sent me great messages and checking in!

Hello SCBSC fans and members. My deepest respects for those who have suffered in these challenging times. Many are requesting to know if the tourney is to take place. If the current situation improves greatly there is hope. I will follow the safety guidelines provided by our government . As soon as I am informed of being able to host a safe event I will open registration. For now, please continue to check fb and be supportive of all others in this time of despair. Please support those on the "front lines" and those who need help when the opportunities arise. Your support means a lot and hopefully we may get sand between our toes this summer.
