We’re kicking off Pride Month on June 6th with an afternoon of q***r joy, movement, sunshine, and community 🌈☀️

Our annual Pride in the Park: Q***r Pole Jam is back and this year we’re bringing the poles, the music, the snacks, and the celebration outdoors once again.

Whether you’re brand new to pole or have been dancing for years, this space is for you.

Expect:

✨ lots of cheering each other on

Hosted by our incredible q***r instructor this jam is all about celebrating Pride through movement, expression, chosen family, and taking up space exactly as you are.

Come hang out, dance in the sunshine, meet new people, and celebrate with us.

Join .tits for an all-levels Heels Choreography class focused on flirty floorwork, fluid movement, low flow pole, walks, poses, and the kind of confidence that happens when you stop overthinking and let yourself move.

This class blends fluid movement with performance energy in a space that celebrates expression, individuality, and taking up space exactly as you are.

📸 and as a reminder, this class is getting filmed by our studio videographer for social media, so wear your fave heels 😉

We’ll be filming classes and capturing studio footage June 1–3 for upcoming social media content.

We’re excited to showcase the strength, artistry, athleticism, community and magic that happens inside these walls every week 💋

If you’d prefer not to be filmed, just let your instructor know when you arrive and we’ll absolutely respect that.

ALSO:
Open Pole on June 2nd will be completely FREE for anyone who wants to come train, dance, hang out, and be part of the filming.

The JOY on these faces 😍

The Performance Troupe this year blew us away. And if you saw them perform (it’s on our feed if you want to go see), here’s your reminder: You don’t start here.

You start with shaky spins.
Sore hands and bruises on body parts you din’t know could bruise.
Wondering how everyone else makes it look so easy.

You start by learning how to hold yourself up.
Then how to trust your grip.
Then how to move with control, strength, and intention.

And somewhere along the way you realize your body has become capable of things you never imagined.

That’s what this troupe represents.

Progression over perfection. Positivity in the face of trial (like the poles getting stuck during our performance 😅)

Hours of conditioning.
Missed tricks.
Bruises.
Breakthroughs.
Training your body and your nervous system to keep trying anyway.

These dancers didn’t wake up performers. They became them by training 🔥💪

That transformation is one of our favorite things to witness each year. And right now there are brand new dancers who will perform next year and they don’t even know it yet 😉

“I could never do that…”

Any clothes that do not find a new home will be donated to Food Not Bombs, supporting the unhoused in Santa Cruz County.

This month we celebrate 8 years of Steel & Grace. 🎂 8️⃣❤️‍🔥

Over the years, we’ve watched dancers walk through our doors unsure…

and leave stronger, more expressive, more connected to themselves, and FIT 💪.

Raise your hand if that was you 🙋 (it’s okay, us too once upon a time).

We’ve built a community that’s grown and evolved.

We’ve built muscle. We’ve built the skills to do physical feats we never imagined we could do. We’ve touched the ceiling, literally.

We move together, yes. But we BELONG together.

And that doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens because of you.

Every class you take.

Every time you try something new.

Every moment you choose to do the hard move, hold the inversion 1 second longer, and stay in your body instead of checking out.

Every time you witness someone else who needed to feel seen.

That’s what makes this place what it is.

8 years in, and we’re still doing what we set out to do.

Creating space for you to feel strong, sensual, grounded, wild, soft, playful… fully yourself.
