Another round of merch I got to design and print recently.
With the owners’ help and trust, I had a lot of freedom to play around with the design. These guys are legends. Always an honor to work on their merch line. The T-Shirt and tote bag are now available at their restaurant.

The Holler is a neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas that used to be pretty rough in the 70s. Townes Van Zandt and other Austin musicians lived in the old bungalows alongside country families and some wild characters.

My buddy told me this story about one family that had two brothers and a stubborn stump in their yard. Instead of digging it out, they tried blowing it up with half a stick of dynamite. To contain the blast, they covered it with a wheelbarrow.

Legend has it that wheelbarrow shot straight into the sky.

I drew this story out into an illustration and turned it into a t-shirt.
