www.suzyradarts.com I use bold acrylic layers to bring each animal’s spirit to life on canvas. After serving in the U.S. Air Force and working abroad as an event planner, I hiked 522 miles across Spain’s GR-11 trail. That journey inspired me to chase three

dreams: become an artist, work outdoors, and work at a brewery—and I’ve done all three. I began painting seriously in 2019, deeply influenced by my son’s autism diagnosis. His view of the world helped me connect even more with the animals I paint and the people who love them. Every portrait is personal. I include clients in the process, offer thoughtful details, and wrap each piece with care. Whether it’s for a living pet or a tribute to one who’s passed, I paint with care, compassion, and the hope that my work brings happy tears and lasting memories. It’s not just art—it’s a memory made with love.

🎨 Celebrate Adopted Pets An Art Show

I’m so excited to share this first-ever event curated by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, celebrating the animals who heal, inspire and uplift us.

Featuring artwork by artists from Clarity Arts and the Tannery Arts Center, this special First Friday event will be held:

Friday, September 4 | 5–8 PM
The Tannery — Radius Gallery Annex, Building 1050

A portion of proceeds from artwork purchased will be donated to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. ❤️

Come enjoy the art, snacks for humans (and treats for pups!), meet some adoptable dogs and celebrate the incredible bond between animals and the people who love them.

Friendly dogs are welcome, too! 🐶
