Thursdays@Newhall is a series of free events held every Thursday in the City’s Arts and Entertainment District, Old Town Newhall, including the wildly popular SENSES Block Party! Thursdays@Newhall presented by Galpin Subaru brings free weekly entertainment and nightlife to Main Street in Old Town Newhall, which is emerging as one of Santa Clarita’s most unique hot spots. First Thursday events incl

ude JAM Sessions, fun, interactive music and dance events hosted by the Ford Theatre, and 10 by 10 a variety night featuring short live theatre pieces, dance, monologues, improv, comedy, and some music. Also, Note by Note, a chance for professional and aspiring songwriters to showcase their songs in front of a live audience. Third Thursdays feature the pinnacle event, SENSES, a themed block party featuring popular performers, gourmet food truck and themed activities. Fourth Thursday events will close each month on a high note, with an engaging artist speaker series presented by ARTree at The MAIN.

On March 13, 2020, the City of Santa Clarita issued a local emergency declaration in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the City announced that as of Saturday, March 14, 2020, all non-essential services will be suspended, all City facilities will be closed to the public for 14 days and all City events are canceled through April.
