AUDITION NOTICE: "It's a Wonderful Life" (play)..
About The Show
In our American culture It's a Wonderful Life has become almost as familiar as Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The story is a natural for a stage adaptation: the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him—by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born—that his has been, after all, a wonderful life. This faithful adaptation has all your favorite characters: George Bailey and Mary Hatch, Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and, of course, the Scrooge-like villain, Mr. Potter. This fine dramatization not only celebrates the faith of the season, it also celebrates the American philosophy of life: hard work, fair play and the love and support of one's family and community will be rewarded.

Auditions (Open Call Either Day):
Saturday, Sept 26, 2026 from 10:30AM to 4PM
Sunday, Sept 27, 2026 from 1PM to 5PM (children 1-2pm Sunday preferred)
* Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis. You will not need to stay the entire duration of the auditions. After your audition is complete, you will be dismissed.*
Callbacks (By Invitation Only):
Tuesday, Sept 29, 2026 at 7PM
*Callbacks are by invitation only. Not all roles will be called back. Also, if you do not get a callback, it may mean you are being considered for different roles.*

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals are Monday through Friday from 7PM to 10PM
Bring your calendar to auditions. Everyone may not be required to attend every rehearsal, but all conflicts must be approved before casting.
Performance Dates (MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCE DATES):
Opens Friday, November 27, 2026, and ends December 23.
The Audition:
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
Actors of all ethnicities, and backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
Please bring a resume and headshot if you have one. (Not required.)
