One thing about me is I love to look at everything from the details to what's been lost or forgotten. These ticket booths outside of California's Great America are no longer used, but were once in integral part of the experience.

There is likely a future where we never see ticket booths anymore. There might be kids today that don't even realize what these are. That's the kind of hidden in plain sight history I love and try to point out in my videos.

So next time you go somewhere with decommissioned ticket booths, take a moment to appreciate a part of our society that has been bypassed by technology, and think about the happiness and excitement families had as they stood there receiving their admission into a wonderful memory.
