The Terracotta Army, 210–209 BC
-The Terracotta Army, which was unearthed in 1974, is a vast collection of clay figures that were buried in three sizable pits next to the tomb of Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, who passed away in 210 BC. According to some estimations, the Army consisted of more than 8,000 warriors, 670 horses, and 130 chariots, and was intended to defend him in the hereafter. Though their actual height varies depending on their military rank, they are always life-size.
