The energy was out of this world! If you have never done this 5k/10k you should! 3000 incredible women (and some men!) came out and every single one killed it!

Someone asked me recently if I feel naked when I donā€™t have henna on. The answer is YES! I really feel like Iā€™m not complete without henna. And I LOVE that henna fades. It gets me so excited to create my next design. Sometimes I want a full hand of henna. Sometimes I want something simple or different. And sometimes I get stuck on a design and do it over and over and over again. But no matter what I ALWAYS need to have henna on. It doesnā€™t always happen though. Obviously, life can be crazy and busy at times. But when I canā€™t wait any longer I have a little henna session. The next few days I al always obsessed with my hands. I sniff them. yes, I sniff them. The smell of natural henna is so yummy. I love looking at my hands and decorating them more with beautiful rings. My favorite being hand chains or haath phool. Tell me Iā€™m not the only one this obsessed with henna.

Itā€™s not everyday I get to do my nieceā€™s bridal henna! I was so honored when Zaina asked me to do her bridal henna. Itā€™s honestly so special to do henna for your loved ones. And for them to consider me worthy. I have no words. It turn out beautiful! I love these pictures of her pointing out her hubbyā€™s name and him looking for it. I love the tradition of hiding the groomā€™s name in the henna. Itā€™s so much fun!
