With over twenty years experience as a professional artist, selling throughout the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean Luke Lamar has owned and operated several Studio/Galleries throughout the world. Starting his career at the age of sixteen painting in the window of his fathers gallery in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Luke has fervently studied painting and sculpture with notable artists throughout his career; including marble carving in Pietrasanta Italy with Kyle Ann Smith, the Berkeley school of Expressionism with the late Patricia Herron and neo-classical realism with Ruben Franco. Since early 2000 he has shown his art in multiple galleries and has his work in private collections throughout california and abroad.
