The room rarely stops spinning, brain rot. SB isn't the Disneyland it promotes itself as. It's a weird mixed up confused corrupted amalgam of strangeness and intolerant bigoted xenophobia. Step back and take a dispassionate good look at the place. It's a sad dirty little wreck if a town with a really good climate! 😂 I lived there because there was easy access to large wilderness area, surfing and sailing. Once I got disabled and stuck in town things turned ugly. I'd get harassed for doing things like sitting in Franceschi park reading a book! It was crazy! Had an old woman try to run me, pedestrian, off the road. One of those nutcases living in that weird RV village at Elings. A bus driver threatened me with an MTD bus! Me, guilty of being old and walking places with flowers in my hat! Cathy Murillo lurking outside my apartment. Oscar Gutierrez trying to get me sectioned 5150 for sitting on a dirt mound on Modoc quietly watching the cars go by. Rob Layton following me around because I knew the history of Believer's Edge and how they tried to take over Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara! It was too strange! Whoever heard of pentecostal metro sexual male dominance religious zealots trying to take over city administration? You can't make stuff like this up! It was a wild ride. Then the neo-libs got together and made up a story about my dangerous paint ball gun to take away my housing and section eight voucher. Gee, thanks, Das Williams, you little weasel! Murillo and Gutierrez were his little protoges! Oops! 😂 Wheee! What a ride! Corrupt monsters! I don't even believe in politics!

Santa Barbara is stagnant and no one even cares to run for office. Politicians need to be changed often to clear out the career politicians and maintain a healthy equilibrium. There are plenty of experienced, educated and able people in SB county. Why don't they care to serve in local government?
