The most difficult water l've attempted to date. I'm slowly making progress on this piece and figuring out the water as I go. I'm pretty happy with it so far. 🌊 The reference photo is one I took while on vacation in Monterey, CA. (I’ll post it in the comments).

I love shading rocks because, with each new color I layer, the dimension really starts to pop! I've been taking my time with this embroidery, but the addition of these rocks is making me excited because I'm getting a glimpse of what the completed piece will look like. 🌊🪨
