🎧 MUSIC NEWS 🎧 Kanye West's 10th studio album, Donda, arrived in the most Kanye West way possible. Massive events, performance art livestream, mysterious speculation, and confirmation West has been living inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Safe to say, after all the anticipation...we are excited Donda is finally here! What are your thoughts on the album?

Steady Studio artist dives into her new up-and-coming song “Guardian.”

The lyrics were originally written by Whitney’s friend Cole before he passed away, and to Whitney it felt like Cole was just as much a part of the process of writing this song despite him not being there physically.

Whitney says, “This song is special for so many reasons. Like one small stone thrown into a lake, it's caused lots of little ripples in more lives than my own. I have, at times, felt unworthy of such a beautiful gift that Cole and his family ultimately gave me by letting me be a part of this song. Solely because of Cole and because of my experience with writing and releasing "Guardian", I have been inspired me to write more Christian based music that I'm looking forward to releasing this summer.”

We can’t wait for you all to hear this special song!

The iconic black and white keys of a piano are recognizable to all. But did you know how a piano works? The sound produced when strings are struck resonates throughout the entire instrument. When a key is pressed, a hammer inside the piano strikes the strings from below, producing the soft, calming sound that we all know and love! 🎵

Working on some new music with and the production is sounding 🔥

One of the things M Coast brought up was how I’m able to work with the stock Logic plugins he already had in the track and get a good sounding mix

& to be completely honest, when I first started audio production back in 2008, I always wondered how the pros got such amazing sounds and what gear they were using (that had to be the only difference... right?! lol)

I’ll never forget the moment I was watching an interview of , where he opened up one of his finished sessions for and there were literally no plugins on what sounded like perfect drum tracks

Since then, I’ve come to believe that while gear and software helps a ton, there’s no substitute for training and experience on the job

So here’s to the dedicating one’s self to a craft and the slow and steady journey to become better than you were

The Steady Studio was established in 2020 to serve the needs of an emerging generation of independent artists and creatives created by the shift of audience members to digital streaming platforms.

Here at The Steady Studio, we make it our mission to help artists by providing access to industry standard equipment and the production skills necessary to really bring creative works to life and allow artists to focus on developing their craft.

But we’re more than a nice sounding room full of expensive gear.

Like many successful artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs that came before us, we believe that community and collaboration are essential to growth and development.
