Good morning Santanero Artists!

I am so sorry that life has been quite preoccupied with work and I haven't posted in our group for some time now. I wish I could tell you that all is ok and we are headed for equity for arts in our city, but sadly this is why I am posting today!

Did you guys know that the 2024 Fiscal Budget has ZERO arts funding in their plans? How can we come back to this in the city of the arts of showing no appreciation or support for our local creative force?

I am calling ALL ARTISTS to join us during tomorrow's City Council Meeting and speak up on the 'Fiscan Year 2024-25 Budget Work Study Session (5/7/2024 6pm City Hall) to provide public comments in opposition to the zero funding proposed in their budget, but instead a robust funding.
