We’re very pleased to share that four members of the Sanibel Recreation Department Center's finest have been nominated for the 2026 Elaine McLaughlin Outstanding Hospitality Service Awards...the E Awards! Andrea Miller, Recreation Director; Cassie Hill, Recreation Specialist; Ella DeFonzo, Recreation Services Assistant; Heike Gosselin, Support Services Assistant; and Nathan Kastle, Lead Recreation Services Assistant; proudly represented part of the Sanibel community at the 26th Annual E Awards last week.
Presented by the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, the E Awards recognize hospitality professionals who go above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional customer service, dedication, leadership, compassion and a commitment to creating positive experiences for both residents and visitors.
Their nominations reflect what we strive for every day at the Sanibel Recreation Center: making everyone who walks through our doors feel welcomed, valued, and part of our community.
