8” Maple Wood Bowl
I sketch my design on the bowl. I use acrylic paint and finish with multiple layers of a water based polyurethane. The bowls are safe for cold foods. Use warm soapy water to clean the bowl . Never put wood bowls in the microwave or dishwasher. If treated with TLC your hand painted wood bowl will last forever.

When I first saw the images from Sanibel after Hurricane Ian, the sight of the battered ( but still standing) lighthouse really struck me. It was the beacon that gave everyone a guiding light for the recovery to come. Then the bright yellow dune daisy’s started blooming everywhere! It was another happy sign for me. And at last, seeing the graceful snowy egrets once again walking the beach, made my heart happy.
I painted this on a gallery canvas using acrylic paints. It measures 48”x24”x 1.5”
