Pretty Paper & Paint Creations ranging from canvas or wood paintings to handmade cards, and a large mix in between! He passed away from pancreatic cancer, in August of 2001.

I started this as a fundraiser to raise money for our Relay for Life team (Bangor Fire Department) in memory of my grandfather, Richard Bolduc. The name "Pretty Paper" came from his favorite Christmas song, which he sang all year long...and I think of every time I get crafty! Everything penny spent purchasing from "Pretty Paper" will be donated to American Cancer Society next year, at Relay. I will continuously add images of new things I have created, and post about the money raised.

Here is my big announcement! Now that Samuel has WON BOTH our Connect Four AND Checkers Tournaments at Family Dinner and the children have gone to bed, since it's way late.

We did something crazy today and “bought” a friends Paint & Sip business supplies!

Clearly I needed MORE paint, more supplies, more things to organize, and another reason to say, “I have an idea.”

Our truck is currently packed with canvases, paint, aprons, brushes, and approximately 47 other things I needed.

Sometimes a dream comes along and you just have to stop saying “maybe someday” and start figuring out how to make it reality, now.

Do I have an organized business plan?
No, not really.

Do I have paint?
An unreasonable amount.

Do I have a vision?
You bet your paintbrush I do.

So now that the cat is out of the bag… who’s booking a Paint & Snack night?

A clean creative space isn't about perfection.

It's about peace.

When our environment feels calm, our nervous system is less likely to stay in fight or flight, leaving more room for imagination, healing, and creativity to bloom.

Sometimes the kindest thing you can do for your future self is spend a few minutes tonight creating a space you'll be excited to wake up to tomorrow.

It may be 1am, and already tomorrow. That's besides the point. I'm excited to return here after I sleep, or attempt to sleep.
