Tracking some drums for Shark Thief’s new record the other day. DHP’s Studio features a great live room used for recording all kinds of instruments. But its strong suit? Drums. This room can gives everything from a tight, dry drum sound, all the way to huge Zeppelin drums, all from the placement of the room mics and the use of some compression.
