This Jedi scrap build is going to make the 9th grader who owns it, the coolest Padawan in his school.

A client sent me an Origin Sabers N1 & asked me to give it an SR-71 Blackbird appearance. The original overall design on the hilt is already very jet engine looking, so I thought about what a tactical Saber the pilot of a Blackbird might wield.

The last 7 of the first batch run of Y Wings have been black washed & assembled. I will be sealing, packing, & shipping them out next week. Please expect me reaching out to you so that I can verify no shipping addresses have changed. Thank you all for your incredible patience on these. We've learned a lot from this first run & will be putting what we've learned into practice when we do eventually embark on another batch run.

This commission took me nearly 3 years to get to where I was completely satisfied with it. It went through several iterations over the years. The client asked for specific elements including the white leather wrapped grip, crystal chamber, working leaver, & Cobb Vanth speeder paint scheme. I had my buddy The Saber Merchant help me out with printing the leaver parts in aluminum.

(Y WING UPDATE!!!)

Thank you to everyone for being so patient as I work through all the little issues I've had putting these intricate pieces that are basically models together. All main body greeblies are done. Holes drilled, tapped, screws trimmed, prepped, pained, & affixed. Next up, the black wash & seal. There was one more issue with the upper blade holders that are currently being taken care of for me by Scavengers Foundry

As soon as they're done, I get them all finished & installed on the hilts, we'll get these beauties out to everyone who has been eagerly awaiting delivery 😉😁.

Happy

I was inspired a couple of years ago by artwork from . I had some parts that looked kinda close, & I built something similar to what he'd come up with.
