🍬Casting Notice!🍬

Calling all 4-7 year old dancers! 🩰

Would you like to perform on the big stage with our NGSB Company in Nutcracker and the Land of the Sweets? We have the opportunity for you! Read details below.

What role will the dancers be playing?

Dancers will be “Little Gumdrops” in Nutcracker and the Land of the Sweets!

When is the performance?

Little Gumdrops will be in Show #1 on Saturday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. AND Show #2 on Sunday, December 6th at 1:30 p.m.

Where is it?

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell

Who can participate?

Any 4-7 year old with at least some dance experience

What is required?

Only three rehearsals total – all 3 are mandatory

1. Saturday, 11/7 12:45-1:30 p.m. at NGSB

2. Saturday, 11/14 12:45-1:30 p.m. at NGSB

3. Dress Rehearsal Saturday, 12/5 at Blessed Trinity High School Theater at 4:30 (right before the performance)

When are the shows?
Show #1 is Saturday 12/5 at 5:30 p.m. Show #2 will be on Sunday 12/6 at 1:30 p.m.

You will need to have your own pink ballet shoes and pink tights. We will provide the rest of the costume. Your dancer will be in Act 1. You will pick them up from the check-in table at the theater during Intermission. They are welcome to watch the rest of the performance!

What is the cost?

It’s FREE! We’d love for your dancer to join us for this wonderful opportunity to perform on a huge stage with our NGSB Company dancers.

Our next Dance for Joy submission is from our NGSB Senior Company dancer, Addy! She says “Dance has been in my life since I could walk, and it has given me a way to express myself. It helps me process my emotions and stay active. Not only that, but it helps me stay focused in my daily life. It taught me life skills and improved my memory. I have become very close to my teachers and fellow company students over the years, and I value these relationships a lot. Without dance, I would definitely not be the person I am today.”

✨ Introducing our NGSB Company 2026–2027! ✨

Last week, our dancers gathered for our annual Company Kick-Off Party, and what a wonderful way to start a new season! We were missing a few, but we had a fantastic time celebrating the beginning of another exciting year together.

From meeting their Ballet Buddies through our special mentoring program to laughing, connecting, and making memories, it was a beautiful reminder of the friendships and community that make NGSB Company so special.

We are proud to introduce our Senior Company, Senior Trainee Company, Senior Apprentice Company, Junior Company, and Mini Company! From our youngest dancers to our most experienced performers, each group brings something special to our NGSB family.

We are SO excited about this incredible group of dancers and all the growth, accomplishments, and magical moments ahead. Here’s to a season filled with beautiful dancing, meaningful friendships, new goals, and memories we’ll treasure for years to come!

Our next Dance for Joy story features our lovely little dancer, Evelyn! 💜✨ There is something so special about seeing the world through a tiny dancer’s eyes and discovering all the ways dance brings joy, confidence, and a little extra magic into childhood. 🩰💕

Here’s her story: “A year ago, a very shy little three-year-old who wanted to be a ballerina more than anything finally decided to let go of Mom’s hand and walk into ballet class all by herself. And one year later? She’s chatting, smiling, confidently walking through those studio doors, insisting on going to ballet twice a week, and constantly asking when the next performance on the big stage will be - because she loved every moment of it! 🩰💕

In just one year, we’ve watched that little spark grow into something truly special. NGSB has a magic of its own -
a way of finding what makes each child shine and creating a place where they feel confident, inspired, and joyful.

And, of course, everyone in our house can now do a plié and relevé—including the cats. 😂🐈🩰

Thank you, NGSB, for creating such a unique and wonderful place where little dancers can feel inspired, supported, and excited to come back through those studio doors each week. And thank you to all the amazing teachers for making dance such a joyful part of our lives.” ❤️

When you show up to dance class and realize you and your friend had the exact same idea! 💕✨

Same outfit. Same studio. Same love of dance. We call that a perfect dance-day coincidence!

There is just something so beautiful about watching a dancer truly feel the music. 💜

Congratulations to Ashlyn, our 2nd Place Winner in the NGSB Dance for Joy Contest!

Ashlyn’s beautiful video captured so much of what we love about dance — joy, emotion, freedom, and the ability to express something that words sometimes can’t.

And we love hearing about Ashlyn’s dreams for the future. One day, she hopes to have a ballet studio of her own and share that same love of dance with others. What a beautiful dream!

Ashlyn, keep dreaming big, keep dancing with your whole heart, and keep letting dance lead you wherever it takes you. We have a feeling your future holds some very special things.

✨ Our Dance for Joy Winner is Gabby A.! ✨

We loved reading all of your heartfelt stories and celebrating the many ways dance brings joy to our NGSB family.

Congratulations to Gabby A., who won the drawing and thus a FREE MONTH of tuition! We especially loved what Gabby shared about her journey with dance:

“Dance has become such a big part of who I am, and it reminds me that passion and determination can take you further than natural ability ever could.”

Gabby shared how dance gives her a way to express herself without words, lose herself in the music, and continue pushing herself even when something doesn’t come naturally: “When I was younger, I wasn’t naturally flexible or coordinated, and there were times when I felt out of place because of that. But I loved dancing enough to keep working at it, and over the years I got to watch myself become the dancer I wanted to be.“ Her story is such a beautiful reminder that passion, perseverance, and a love for dance can take us farther than we ever imagined.

And you’ll have a chance to see Gabby shine on stage this December! She will be dancing the role of the Sugarplum Fairy in our holiday production, The Nutcracker and the Land of the Sweets! 🍬 We can’t wait to watch her bring this magical role to life!

A huge thank you to everyone who entered our Dance for Joy contest and shared your stories with us. We loved reading every single one and will be sharing many of the beautiful stories and videos soon!
