A Taste of Things to Come, a witty and heartfelt musical comedy that follows four women whose lives are forever changed after entering a 1957 Betty Crocker cooking contest. Spanning a decade of friendship, ambition, and changing times, this charming musical serves up humor, nostalgia, and a delicious glimpse into the future.

Show dates are November 6, 7, 8th and 13, 14, 15th 2026.

Auditions will be held Sun and Mon, Sept 13th and 14th beginning at 6pm. Please arrive between 5:30 and 6pm to complete paperwork. Individuals are welcome to attend both evenings but not required, and any new auditionees will be heard first.

If interested, please prepare a 1-2 min piece to sing. Individuals may sing with a track or bring sheet music to sing with an accompanist. Director Curtis Brown would like to hear jazzy, swing type songs. Songs from the 50s or 60s.

There will also be cold reading and a dance audition, please dress accordingly.

If needed, call backs will be held Tuesday, September 15th.

For the holidays, Harlequins presents A Christmas Cabaret, a festive celebration of the season featuring beloved Christmas songs, touching readings, spirited comedy, and plenty of hometown holiday warmth. Filled with music, laughter, and community spirit, this merry r***e is the perfect way to celebrate Christmastime with family and friends.

In winter 2027, the season turns heartfelt and deeply moving with The Tin Woman. Based on a true story, this dramatic comedy explores life, loss, healing, and second chances after a heart transplant connects two families in unexpected ways. Balancing humor with emotional honesty, The Tin Woman is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit.

Closing the season next spring is An Old-Fashioned Family Murder, a delightfully clever comedy mystery packed with suspicious relatives, stormy-night secrets, and plenty of twists. When a murder rocks the mansion of Colonel Claythorne, everyone becomes a suspect in this fast-paced whodunit where appearances can’t be trusted and nothing is quite what it seems.

Together, these four productions create a season full of unforgettable characters, moving stories, music, laughter, and theatrical magic — all brought to life by the volunteers and artists of Harlequins Coach House Theatre.
