I have several serving containers, platters, bowls, sheet pans etc. and I know they’re not mine, so, they must be yours!

What’s on my mind? Swamp Dogs are on my mind. I’ll be serving up Swamp Dogs this year at MF5. They’re hot dogs, but swampy.

Swamp Hot Dogs (Meat Feast)

Ingredients
* 8 hot dogs
* 2/3 cup Italian dressing
* 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
* 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
* 2 medium onions (thinly sliced)
* 2/3 cup water
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 1 tablespoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)

How to Make It
1. Score and Marinate: Score the hot dogs with a knife. Place them in a zip-top bag with the sliced onions, Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 1 to 2 days.
2. Cook the Dogs: Heat a cast-iron skillet or large griddle. Char the marinated hot dogs first.
3. Simmer the Onions: Add the marinated onions to the hot dogs in the pan. Pour in the water and let the mixture simmer until the onions are soft and tender.
4. Add Sauce: Stir in the ketchup and mustard directly into the onion mixture to create a thick, savory sauce.
5. Serve: Place the cooked hot dogs into buns and top generously with the saucy Cajun onions.
