Been sitting on the footage from our last gig a while, finally doing some editing. One song that stood out: Sultans of Swing. Here's a little tasty clip.

As usual it was a great night collaborating with our good friend, Ben Baker (Benny to those in the know). The music and camaraderie coupled with an appreciative crowd made it hard to pick a favorite song or two.

While we're at it: Ben is back on the deck tomorrow with special guest Ron Criscione, from 5:30-8:30 PM. If you're free, go check it out.

Ponderay Paradox is back at Connie’s Cafe this Wednesday, July 29 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM. We’ll be joining forces once again with the very talented Ben Baker, one of Sandpoint’s busiest and most versatile musicians. It’s always a great night when the three of us get together to play.

Last year the crowd needed one more song before they let us quit and we gave them our cover of “Drift Away” by Dobie Gray. Check out a short clip from last year’s show.

That song is definitely on the set list again, along with some others we know you’ll enjoy.

Come join the party this Wednesday night for another great edition of Benny on the Deck!

Ponderay Paradox heads back up to the mountains tomorrow, Friday July 24. We'll be on the patio at the Crow's Bench Restaurant in the village of Schweitzer Mountain Resort from 5 - 7 PM

If you're suffering from the heat and smoke down in the valley, here's your permission slip to head up and join us. Schweitzer will be 10-15 degrees cooler with much cleaner air. The perfect place to spend a Friday summer evening.

To put you in the mood, check out a small slice of our cover of "Across the Great Divide" from last Saturday's gig at the Farmer's Market. We hope you'll find yourself on the mountainside with us up where the air is cool and clear.

Ponderay Paradox is back at the Sandpoint Farmer's Market tomorrow, Saturday July 18, 10 AM to 1 PM. Saturday mornings don't get much better than fresh baked goods and produce, good people, and live music...come be part of it.

Check out the clip of our cover of "Coming Into Los Angeles" by Arlo Guthrie. We picked up an enthusiastic young fan who couldn't keep his feet still, and when Matt broke out the harmonica, he made sure everyone knew he approved.

We had a great night at Pend d'Oreille Winery last week. The crowd was dancing a lot which is always a good sign.

Me 'n Matt will be heading up-country this Saturday, June 13th. We'll be playing live in the village at Schweitzer Mountain Resort for their Community Day -- 12 to 2 PM in front of the Clocktower. Location is weather permitting, but the forecast looks good for a cool but sunny day.

It's the opening weekend of Schweitzer's summer season, and they're doing it right, featuring nonprofit orgs from all over Bonner County, $10 scenic chairlift rides up to Sky House, hiking, mountain biking, climbing walls... and us.

To get you warmed up for a great time, here's a little taste of what we've been up to from our last gig at Barrel 33, Matt crushing a classic Beatles tune. See if you can find the hidden reference in the thumbnail.

Sometimes the best things that happen at a gig are completely unplanned. Case in point: These two little ladies (future Ponderay Paradox superfans?) decided this song needed some extra sparkle. They were right. This is why we love playing live.

Come catch us at our next gig: opening weekend at Schweitzer Mountain for Community Day, Saturday, June 13th from 12 - 2 PM. Weather permitting, we'll be at the Clock Tower. There'll be discounted lift tickets to take in the view from up top or let gravity provide the power for a hair-raising ride down on your mountain bike. Matt and I are praying for blue skies and hope to see you there!
