Tonight we had the privilege of celebrating two sisters that are in the minority percentage of global CLRG Irish Dancers world wide that qualify to compete at the World Championships. After decades of World Qualifying solo and team dancers, and world medals in both, we send Audrey and Gemma off with all the love and support in the world. What makes us most proud is the fact our school culture is family, loyalty and love. Not only that but to watch their peers encourage them, be genuinely happy for them, and wish them all the best is priceless.

A and G! You got this!!! All of your coaches could not be more proud of you. Look up, look out, dance from your heart and do yourself proud. We are already proud of you and want you to enjoy not only the moment but be grateful for the shared experience that will be a great memory for years to come.

Thank you to the McBride Irish Dancers for VOLUNTEERING their Saturday mornings to donate time and a show to entertain our senior community.

The dancing was outstanding, a special treat was one of our dancers, Annabelle, playing Irish songs for them to sing along with.

The smiles on the seniors faces when they saw the children, dancing and entertainment was priceless.

Well done and thank you for your outpouring of love and support to the Waters Edge Lodge in Alameda.

One special resident was very touched at all the dancers, parents and family members who showed up and showed love to their community.

It only takes a small act of kindness to make a huge difference in the lives of others!

Thank you so much Ed's Mudville Grill for the outstanding night and the always huge welcome for our dancers and families. 31 years, and multiple generations who absolutely love to perform at your event. So many came to know of us from attending your St Patrick’s Day event, and became life long McBride Irish Dancers. The food, service, and atmosphere is top tier!

While Ed’s always treats us like Royalty, this year, we had the privilege of getting to know the neighboring business and their staff at Sip 'n Sweet Coffee and Ice Cream in Clayton. You were beyond generous with our dancers this year and your kindness is greatly appreciated. Your Shamrock Mint ice cream was a huge hit with the kids, and we have some photos to prove it. Your treating the dancers to an ice cream after their performances was above and beyond anyone’s expectations. We are sharing some photos of them enjoying your magical shop! You were a hit with the kids and I know we will be back throughout the year to support you.

To everyone else, when in Clayton, drop by both small businesses and support them all year round. You will not be disappointed at the customer service and quality of your food, beverages, and customer experience!

Oh what a year it’s been. Thank you to McBride Irish Dancers for your support of all of the shows that span across 5 counties this week. Our troops are out with the experienced, and the ones gaining their experience.

We scaled back this year to shows for the people that mean the most to us, the communities that are under served, and the places we’ve danced annually for decades.

We’re a family, the McBride School Of Irish Dance. Watching the 3rd and 4th generations of Irish Dancers (no matter their school origins) perform this St Patrick’s Day, those who started with the founding WUSR members such as Annie McBride is a full circle moment in the best way possible.

Here are some photos of McBride Pride. From our dancers heading to worlds in a couple of weeks, to our newest performers, who amongst themselves chose their School Uniforms to show their pride versus solos or black out, we love you and appreciate you! You’ve shown through action our core values. Family, Loyalty, Love, Respect and Friendship. The strongest dancers leading and mentoring the newest is a privilege to watch.

Please enjoy some photos from a few dance outs this weekend. We can’t wait to entertain you at the top of the hour, every hour, starting at 10am tomorrow City of Dublin, CA - Government St Patrick’s Day festival with our final show tomorrow starting at 3.

If you can’t swing by Dublin, you can catch us The Starry Plough in Berkeley on Tuesday at 6pm sharp and Ed's Mudville Grill starting at 330 pm throughout the evening in Clayton on 3/17.

Please register early to help the Feis plan ahead!!! If you are able, consider a room in the hotel block to further support the Feis and its ability to continue to provide a great venue going forward!
