San Ramon Valley Dance Academy

San Ramon Valley Dance Academy SRVDA is nationally recognized for diversity and excellence in dance training.

San Ramon Valley Dance Academy has been a tri-valley institution for over 30 years. We have trained dancers who have pursued professional careers, attended college as dance majors and on scholarship and many students who find their love of dance and passion for improvement being nurtured by our professional staff. SRVDA is a place where multiple generations have brought their families to learn to

dance and to perform in both our beloved annual production, 'Impressions of the Nutcracker,' and in our spring shows. We hold our students to the highest technical standards while also inspiring them to express themselves through dance. We look to train the whole dancer, as a human being, and support them in the execution of their own work as well as the execution of their instructors work. SRVDA is a dance family where serious students can gain all of the tools they need to pursue a career in dance and recreation students can enjoy all of the benefits that dance training offers.

Yesterday was our Pre-Pointe dancers last class of the Fall25/Spring 26 season. These dancers earned their shoes in January and Ms. Jan put together a routine for them to show off their hard work. Way to Go! We are so proud of you!

It's never easy to say goodbye to our seniors.

For 14 years, Sophia has been part of the SRVDA family, creating memories, building friendships, and sharing her love of dance.

While we're excited to see what comes next, we'll miss seeing her smile in the studio.

Congratulations, Sophia. Thank you for being part of our story. πŸ’œ

No dancer's journey happens alone.

When asked about someone who impacted her dance journey, Izzy shared:

✨ "I think it goes without saying that Miss Jennifer was probably my biggest mentor at the studio. I was introduced to dance through my mom and I never want to stop. Her infectious love for performing has shaped the way I view dance, and has inspired me to approach every class, rehearsal, and performance with passion and commitment."

The relationships built inside the studio often become some of the most meaningful memories we carry with us.

Congratulations, Izzy! We are so proud of all you've accomplished.

Three words Hannah used to describe her dance journey:

πŸ’œ Nostalgic β€’ Transformative β€’ Rewarding

Simple words, but they tell the story of years of growth, hard work, friendships, and unforgettable moments.

As you begin your next chapter, know that your SRVDA family is incredibly proud of you.

Congratulations, Hannah! πŸŽ“

✨ Senior Spotlight: Emma Thanos ✨

Every dancer leaves behind memories that become part of the story of our studio.

When asked what SRVDA moment she would relive one more time, Emma shared:

πŸ’œ "A moment at SRVDA I wish I could relive one more time is my final Nutcracker performance as Rose. "

Thank you for helping create so many wonderful memories over the years. We are grateful to have been part of your journey.

Congratulations, Emma!

πŸ’œ Senior Spotlight: Claire Washer πŸ’œ

Dance is about so much more than what happens on stage.

When asked how dance has shaped who she is today, Claire shared:

✨ "I've learned so many valuable lessons throughout my years as a dancer. Since day one, the SRVDA faculty has instilled in me many essential characteristics. They disguise life skills in workouts and corrections and a simple lecture about knowing choreography turns into a lesson about accountability and work ethic. Nowhere else have I formed such deep and genuine friendships, and the people I dance with are the ones who have influenced me the most. I have learned how important it is to have people around you who will support you through everything, and how that support must be reciprocated for friendships to flourish. I am so grateful to have these people surrounding me, teaching me, and pushing me to be the best version of myself. "

We are grateful to have been a small part of your journey and proud of the person you've become.

Congratulations on this exciting milestone, Claire! Your SRVDA family will always be cheering you on.

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Chloe Cook 🌟

Throughout her years at SRVDA, Chloe has grown as a dancer, teammate, and leader.

When asked what advice they would give younger dancers, she shared:

πŸ’œ "Take every correction and embrace every opportunity to grow ... Sometimes, you have to step outside of your comfort zone to become the best version of yourself."

We hope every dancer coming behind you takes those words to heart.

Thank you for the memories, the hard work, and the joy you've brought to our studio. We are so proud of you, Chloe!
