Hi All,
Its been a long time since I've had a chance to get online...After closing Jack and Jill's in September and as many of you know, having also gone through a difficult personal relationship situation, I decided I needed time and to do something different to get back on my feet - I left San Rafael November 29 for LA to a school where I trained for a Class A Commercial Drivers License and I haven't made it back to the Bay Area- yet. After the training I've been over the road driving the country hauling everything from potatos for Frito Lays to make chips, chcoclate to Hershey's to Cutie oranges from California to Texas. I'm currently in Chicago waiting for a snow storm to pass...
I miss Jack and Jill's, the families, caretakers and of course, the kids. But I'm happy to say that it in part Jack and Jill's structures live on in the new Le Petit Jardin preschool.

As of this week we are closed and hoping to re-open in a new location in Marin later this year. Thank you to everyone for your support and kind words and we will keep you updated. Watch This Space....

Infant Massage Class: 8 Babies and Moms enjoyed and relaxed. Class was led by Susan Theobald, LCSW and massage therapist. Cost was just the $5 Under 1 yr old Drop-in Play admission. If interested in setting up a class for you, your friends and babies, give Susan a call 578-8339.

Planting Seeds At Jack and Jill's

This week during drop-in play we're telling the children how plants grow...they get to "custom" paint their own pot then fill it with dirt, plant the seeds and then sprinkle it with water. We'll keep the pots on the wall near the front desk for display and sunlight and each time you come back for drop-in play, the child gets to water their plant. In a few weeks we (hope, lol) to see the plants start to grow and you get to take the pot home!
