I'm delighted that a few ceramic pieces of mine are included in this year's NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) conference. Homewood Studios is calling the show Voices from Elsewhere. Here's their flyer note:
Homewood Studios, as an invited partner of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, will host an exhibit in our gallery during the NCECA convention Claytopia, Our show, Voices From Elsewhere, features a dozen artists who come to clay through other art media or life experiences. Six artists are local and six are national. Their exceptionally wide range of career paths and talents, which have led them to their current work in clay, offers an inspiring and surprising collection of the highest quality.
Participating artists: Marion Angelica • Larry Buller • Carolanne Currier • Kate Dameron • Eva Margaret • David Menk • John Morse • Carol Patt • Layne Peters • Colleen Riley • Brenda Ryan • Fawn Yacker
