This is what happens when you give teenagers a wall and trust them with it ✨

Congratulations to Teen Mural Club on the unveiling of Manos at Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC), who created this mural together over 10 weeks under the guidance of renowned muralist Mister Toledo, with support from Matt, AGCC's Otis Arts Education intern.

Thanks to everyone from the community who joined us for this special day, and to the Office of Supervisor Janice Hahn (4th District) and Councilmember Tim McOsker (15th District) of the City of Los Angeles for the special recognition.

Support for Teen Mural Club is generously provided by the Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation and the Gluck Foundation.

🎨 Earlier this month we welcomed LA County workers for Employee Wellness Through the Arts Week, a partnership between Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture and Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources. Guests got an exclusive early preview of our DecaDENSE and Irish Contemporaries {v} exhibitions, and rolled up their sleeves to create their own contemporary art prints using tortilla presses.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen! We're grateful to be part of the creative wellness conversation during Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’™
