Exhibiting at Red Square Boutique in November is Caroline Wampole. Caroline will be showing new paintings from her series, "Right Brain Memoir: Your Tragic Self". These small paintings feature snippets of prose from her old journals and notebooks, and are covered in resin. They tell stories, but only partially, in a "right brain" or implicit way, while gently mocking the sometimes melodramatic tone of personal diaries. The exhibit runs Nov. 2 thru 27 with an artist reception Thursday Nov. 3, 6 to 9 pm.

October Palm Avenue Up Art Shop exhibiting artist at Red Square Boutique is Lucky Rapp. Lucky and her collaborator, Aximillion Helga Duson, will be showing their resin covered minimalist play on words and culture.

Recently, I went to Pop-Up Art Shop, a monthly event on Palm Avenue in San Mateo, CA where a few hip shops stay open late to exhibit local art and share their wares with neighbors, patrons, and like-minded passionates.
