In January, I embarked on the journey of taking my music to a professional studio and laying down tracks. The engineer is a gent by the name of Michael Rosen [a Grammy winning producer and engineer who has worked with Santana, Journey, Tesla, Rancid and The Donnas to name a few]. He, with the help of my friend and guitar teacher, Garrick Davis (https://gdworldblues.com/world-blues-intro-kit), helped me conceive the final arrangements of my music.
In addition, I was able to hire some amazing session musicians (most of whom are Garrick’s band-mates) to fill out the parts that I cannot play/do (bass, drums, keys, organ, horns, female vocals). With a couple of exceptions, I played rhythm guitar and did all of the lead and harmony vocals.
NOTE: Michael Rosen teaches Recording Arts at Chabot college in the East Bay and I am now one of his students. I intend to become a ProTools master!
Once Michael was finished with the final mixes, Garrick introduced me to Michael Romanowsky (also Grammy winning) a mastering engineer. His work gave the already great final mixes a depth that still makes me wonder how he accomplished it (https://www.coastmastering.com/).
While I waited for Michael Romanowsky to finish working his magic on my songs, I decided to get some head-shots done for the album cover. I was introduced to Pat Johnson, a long-time recording industry photographer (https://patjohnson.com/). As expected his head-shots were wonderful and he was a blast to work with.
All the tracks have been uploaded to DistroKid and my music is scheduled to be released on every streaming service out there, globally, at Midnight on 15DEC2023.

Nothing we do is done alone…I am here at this juncture because of a group of amazing people, (especially Garrick Davis).
OH! One more thing: The logo for the album cover was designed by Garrick’s wife Zsuzsa! (SO COOL!!)
