Lyrical vs. Contemporary — What’s the Difference?
Both styles are beautiful and expressive, but they each tell a story in their own unique way.

Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, danced to emotional music with lyrics. It focuses on storytelling and fluid movements that connect deeply with the audience.

Contemporary is more experimental, blending ballet, modern, jazz, and even acrobatics. It often includes floor work, improvisation, and abstract expression.
