Renowned photographer Geoff Winningham recently stopped by the gallery to reflect on his exhibition, "Discoveries: Texas and Mexico, 1970–2024." Looking at these frozen moments in time, he reminded us that a still image doesn't just capture a scene; it gives you time to pause, think, and feel the weight of that memory.

The Discoveries exhibition is a stunning visual time capsule of the last 50 years. View more than 200 incredible photos on display capturing everything from Houston wrestling and livestock rodeos to Friday night Texas high school football. The exhibition also spans geographical borders, showcasing people and places from Texas to Mexico.

"Discoveries" is coming down in just a few short weeks. Learn more about this exhibition and plan your visit: www.thewittliffcollections.txst.edu/exhibitions/discoveries-winningham.html
