Sometimes we do it ourselves and sometimes we need a reliable team of professionals. Pictured is an install at a home in Home Ranch featuring a piece of artwork by American Contemporary artist Craig Alan, born 1971 in San Bernardino.

This isn't simply a painting of the Statue of Liberty. Alan creates large images from hundreds of tiny individual human figures, viewed from an aerial perspective. Like pointellism, from a distance the figures merge into the recognizable image, but up close they scatter into thousands of individual figures. A perfect representation of team work in action.

Break out your bell bottom jeans and join us for a very special collaboration between San Luis Obispo International Film Festival and EDNA Contemporary one week from now! The Palm Theatet is hosting a screening of THE LOST WEEKEND: A LOVE STORY followed by a Q&A with photographer, May Pang and filmmaker, Richard Kaufman.
After the screening, head over to EDNA for a 70's themed sneak-preview reception, art show and John Lennon's drink of choice, Brandy Alexanders! (Wear 70's themed attire or a costume!)

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
May Pang, John Lennon's companion during his legendary 18-month "Lost Weekend" era, will appear in person at EDNA Contemporary Gallery for a special three-day exhibition of her candid photographs of Lennon, Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026. All photographs will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the SLO Film Center.

Inspired by snapshots and film stills from the mid-century, her paintings depict fleeting moments suspended in time. Like lovers Marianne and Jean-Paul in the French art house film LA PISCINE (1969) by Jacques Deray, lounging poolside in a villa near St.-Tropez, Harris's subjects are effortlessly chic and modestly sensual, yet they manage to evoke the quiet tension of late summer rumination.
