NEXT WEEKEND! Don't miss the 18th Annual Cuesta Acoustic Guitar Concert - on sale now - tickets.cuesta.edu

Always a favorite concert for our community, the Cuesta Acoustic Guitar Concert features Eric Skye from Portland, Jamie Stillway from Seattle, and Michael Millham from Spokane, and Cuesta College’s own Jennifer Martin. These internationally known touring and recording artists will perform a wide variety of beautiful music including jazz, folk, pop, and classical. Join us Saturday, September 19 at 7:30pm in the CPAC Mainstage Theater!

BONUS: The artists will offer workshops the following day (Sunday 9/20) at noon in the Cuesta Music building (7100). The workshops are FREE to concert ticket holders! Don't miss a weekend of great guitar music...

We are honored to *once again* acknowledge Joan G. Sargen as the CPAC Season Sponsor. Joanie was our first-ever season sponsor, and we're incredibly grateful to have her return for the 2026-2027 season!

Joan G. Sargen moved to the Central Coast from the Bay area in 1992 and wasted no time before finding numerous ways to give of her time, talents, and treasure to help make our community an even better place to live, work, and play.

One would be hard-pressed to find a nonprofit organization in San Luis Obispo County that has not benefited from Joan’s philanthropic support! Over the years, she has been recognized for her philanthropy with several accolades including the Cuesta College Superintendent/President’s Award, the Association of Fundraising Professionals of San Luis Obispo County’s Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year Award, and the Avila Beach Civic Association’s Community Service Award.

Joan has also served on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center, the Central Coast Women’s League, and on Cuesta College’s Cultural and Performing Arts Center Council. What a joy to have her join us again!

Cuesta Drama is hitting the sand this Fall with:
𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 ...a gloriously unhinged spoof: November 12-22, directed by incoming Performing Arts faculty member, Noah Lucé! This play by Charles Busch is a parody of 1950s beach movies, 1960s psychodramas, and 1970s slasher films.

It's the summer of 1962, and Malibu Beach is packed with sun-bleached surfers, beach bums, and a whole lot of teenage drama. Chicklet Forrest just wants to catch a wave and win the heart of dreamy surfer Star Cat but, standing in her way, is Kanaka a.k.a. the swaggering "king" of the beach, her overbearing mother, and a cast of scene-stealing characters ready to crash the party. 𝑃𝑠𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑜 𝐵𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑦 is a fast, funny, wildly theatrical ride through surf culture, first love, and total chaos… with a few surprise personalities along for the ride.
