We asked, and you answered. ❤️
Why do you love SLOMA?
"I love SLOMA because I feel like I belong there."
There's no greater compliment than knowing our museum is a place where people feel welcomed, connected, and inspired. SLOMA is more than a space to experience art—it's a place where community comes together, conversations begin, and everyone belongs.

Here's to new spaces, new experiences, and many more moments shared through art. ❤️

Bubbles & Bricks—a celebration of the exciting future taking shape for our museum.
Hosted inside SLOMA's future home, the evening was an opportunity to imagine what's possible while recognizing the incredible generosity of those helping make this vision a reality.
Every donation, every investment, and every act of support brings us one step closer to opening the doors to a new cultural home for San Luis Obispo County—a place where art, education, creativity, and community will come together for generations to come.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who believes in this project and is helping build SLOMA's future.
We can't wait to welcome our community into the new museum next year. Until then, here's a look back at an evening filled with excitement, connection, and the shared vision of what's to come. ❤️

Studies show that art museum visits are crucial for child development because they foster critical thinking, boost literacy, and build historical empathy. Immersing children in art also supports their social-emotional growth, encourages curiosity, and helps them see the world through new perspectives.
This summer, make art part of your family's adventures at SLOMA.
Join us for Second Saturday activities, then stay for one of our engaging Docent Tours, offered every Saturday at 11:00 AM. Our trained volunteer guides lead interactive tours of SLOMA's current exhibitions, helping visitors of all ages connect more deeply with the artwork on view.
Simply check in at the front desk to join. Docent tours are free and open to the public.
We look forward to seeing you at the museum this summer! 🎨

Second Saturdays is made possible thanks to the generous support of Trust Automation, SESLOC, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County.
