You are warmly invited to attend San Luis Obispo County's most unique festival, where over 800 costumed participants converge in San Luis Obispo's Laguna Lake Park to create an English Renaissance village, brilliantly decorated for your ultimate summer fantasy entertainment. Step into the year 1585 when Queen Elizabeth I was England's magnificent monarch. This is the age of legendary characters like William Shakespeare, Sir Walter Raleigh, Sir Francis Drake and a host of famous Dukes, rogues and scoundrels whom you'll see about the village. Remember to remove your hat as Her Majesty parades though the streets of Donneybrooke with her stunning Royal Court, accompanied by her handsome foot soldiers and hand maidens. Mark July 15 & 16 on your calendar, for a trip back in time.

For the past 2 years, Amy's been our Site Coordinator—handling behind-the-scenes job of site layout, making sure everything - from the stages, vendors, guilds, to porta potties, first aid, bike valet - fits just right, and traffic will flow smoothly and safely. It's the kind of work that doesn't always get noticed, but the festival wouldn't run without it. She has a knack for handling stress with aplomb and dealing with the challenges that always arise on set up day.

This year she's stepping up to Vendor Coordinator and already she is ahead of the game.

Coordinators like Amy are what make the Central Coast Renaissance Festival thrive. Thank you for all you do, Amy! 🎉

The festival couldn't go on without this man, Luis Villanueva, and his team. They construct the village, maintain the infrastructure during the festival, and take it down and pack it away when it's all over. We look forward to having them help us do it again in July 2027 for the 41st Annual Central Coast Renaissance Festival. See you there!

Meet Frank, our box office manager. Frank is the man behind the curtain who keeps the box office running. He's brought our 16th century faire into the 21st. If you've gone to concerts and other events in the county, chances are he was running the box office behind the scenes there as well. We are so lucky to have him. His unflappable presence and problem solving skills keeps us on track to bring you this festival.
