It's pretty fulfilling to take something that normally gets stashed away in the file cabinet and turn into a piece of art honoring the memory of a special horse.

Years ago I attempted oil painting but got frustrated and put them away. This past month I had the urge to try again and finally finished one!

These paints were my grandmother's. She was a phenomenal artist. I wish she was still here to teach me. 😇
