Our original downtown location has a new look. Booking is open now.
Hi everyone,
This is Chavez, owner of SLO Piercing.
After more than three years of construction, we've returned to our original home next to the Anderson Hotel at 963 Monterey Street, in the historic part of downtown SLO, right across from Urban Outfitters and Boo Boo Records.
As many of our long-time clients know, this location closed for renovations back in March 2023. We're thrilled to be back with a completely refreshed studio.
We don't have signage up yet, but don't let that stop you. We're open for business and taking bookings right now.
I'll personally be running the Downtown location. Over the past few years I stepped back from piercing full-time to focus on growing the business, and I'm excited to be back where it all started.
During that time, I listened closely to client requests and looked at three years of data on what's most popular, so 963 Monterey will be focused on our most requested services and jewelry.
Many long-time clients have asked when I'd be back to piercing.
I'm happy to announce that I am back and I can't wait to see familiar faces again at our downtown location.
Meanwhile, our 474 Marsh Street location continues running strong with Raven and Clover.
Our Marsh location will remain open!
We've expanded into the two units next door, giving us a much larger lobby for jewelry browsing.
A few months ago we were working out of a much smaller space, with no real room for browsing and an appointment-only policy.
Due to high demand, we expanded into the two additional units next door, so we could better serve both walk-ins and appointments.
We still strongly recommend booking ahead if you want a piercing or jewelry installation, since we book up quickly, but you're also welcome to stop by and browse our new jewelry selection.
