Our 2026/27 season kicks off with the searing Bay Area Premiere of Barcelona by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Bess Wohl.

Set over one unforgettable night in Barcelona, a chance encounter between two strangers takes an increasingly complicated turn as desire and deception collide with the personal and political.

Directed by Artistic Director Randall King, with movement choreography by Bridgette Loriaux, and featuring Associate Artistic Director Johnny Moreno as Manuel and Adria Swan as Irene. This seductive, psychologically charged drama sets the stage for a bold and unpredictable Season 44.

Join us for a special screening of the award-winning documentary celebrating the extraordinary life and legacy of Luis Valdez. Playwright, filmmaker, and founder of El Teatro Campesino, and one of the most influential voices in American theatre.

Directed by David Alvarado and narrated by Edward James Olmos, American Pachuco explores Valdez’s groundbreaking career, his lasting impact on American theatre and Chicano culture through iconic works including Zoot Suit and La Bamba.
