Almost finished with this WIP! I will give more context when she’s done. But first, pit stop in Detroit! Can’t wait to hug all my favorite clay people and meet new friends! 💗

From the pines of my home in Appalachian mountains to the redwoods and the eucalyptus of the San Francisco bay, Bowie and I have been on quite the journey together.
I can’t imagine my life without him now that we’ve been together for 5 years.
I seized the opportunity to have this spontaneous tin type portrait taken during a pop-up event in Santa Cruz on the winter solstice as a way to commemorate this moment in time.
The last several months have been especially hard, but I am proud and excited to be halfway through my MFA program in San Jose.
I don’t think I would have survived without my main squeeze by my side.
Thank you Annie of for the impromptu portrait. She’s amazing!

2025 pushed me to the utmost edge of my limits, but I didn’t break. There was a lot of growth. Never been more ready to turn the page on a year… celebrating all the small victories and feeling so much gratitude for all of the incredible humans who have supported me along the journey. I love you all!! Let’s go 2026!

Always leave with a heart brimming over with love and gratitude for this community and this sacred practice of wood firing. ❤️‍🔥
We had a stellar crew of hard working sweeties for this year’s Thanksgiving firing. Shoutout to Lucas Schick () for his heart centered leadership, generous sharing of knowledge & dedication to facilitating a beautiful firing. Big thanks to Scott and the current cohort of artists at for all of their continued labor on the property and for sharing their home & studio with us… this group is the real deal! Can’t wait to unload the fruits of our labor on Saturday!🔥

Beginning this Saturday through the end of next week, my work will be on display on campus at SJSU on the second floor of Industrial Studies in Herbert Sanders gallery. Please stop by if you’re in the South Bay! Feel free to message me if you’d like to set up a viewing appointment, I’d love to walk through the gallery with you! All visitors must be accompanied by a student to access campus buildings (sjsu safety protocol).
I use fragments of the human body—limbs, hands, feet and appendages thereof—as a visual language to explore the interconnectedness between the human species and the natural world. Through creating compositions that incorporate natural growth patterns found in nature, such as radial symmetry and sacred geometry, using primarily the human figure as subject matter—my work demonstrates how deeply connected we are to the ecosystems in which we inhabit. Through sculpting each piece by hand in this series, the process of sculpting my work becomes a spiritual journey of catharsis and inward reflection that becomes an ongoing conversation between my creative spirit and God. As someone who does not prescribe to organized religion, I use the term “God” in reference to a more spiritual context, such as The Source of all things.
