Art instructors do not wear masks during instruction. We feel it’s important for the guests to see the artists mouth moving and their words to project out for every guest to get the full benefit of the instruction. Additionally, we will never require our art instructors to compromise their autonomy to accommodate anyone’s belief & if that makes you uncomfortable then we may not be the right paint

de colores paint parties is hiring!

We're looking for an artist who is skilled in acrylic on canvas to host a weekly paint night event at a local bar.

It's a 2 hour class with 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to clean up and take photos of the participants at the end of the event.

All paint supplies including aprons, easels, brushes, paints, and canvases are provided by de colores.

REQUIREMENTS
-MUST have a catalog of work to show to determine your skill level
-MUST have a reliable means of transportation that can transport all necessary supplies
-It's extremely important you have the ability to give instruction and keep the participants engaged
-Navigating intoxicated individuals with humor is critical

PAY
$25 an hour + tips (4 hours once a week)
Pay includes 2 hours of instruction, set-up, clean-up, photo op at the end, and fuel/mileage costs.

This role is a cash role, and in the beginning will be VERY part-time. More hours as time progresses might be available.
