Kokedama & Ikebana Art Workshop (日本語でのご案内は下記）
Discover the Beauty of Greenery & Seasons
Join us for a special, hands-on workshop where you will experience two beautiful Japanese plant arts in one session!
First, we will craft a Kokedama (a charming Japanese moss ball) using a live miniature plant that you can take home and grow for months and years to come. Then, using beautiful branches and seasonal fresh flowers, we will build a natural base to elegantly display your Kokedama in a unique, modern Ikebana style. It’s the perfect combination of sustainable greenery and the fleeting beauty of seasonal blooms.
Date & Time: 7/25 (sat) 12:00 - 13:30
Location: Dojo at Japanese Art & Cultural Center
Fee without Container: $55 Includes all plant materials, moss, soil, branches, Threads, and fresh cut flower
Fee with Container & Plastic Kenzan: $65
What to Bring: Shallow Container or Dish, Floral Scissors. Apron is recommended.
Gloves and crafting trays will be provided during the workshop.

🌿 苔玉＆生け花 夏の１Day ワークショップのご案内
〜みずみずしい緑と、季節を愛でる贅沢な時間〜
2つの日本の植物アートを一度に楽しめる、特別な90分ワークショップ
ミニ観葉植物を使って愛らしい「苔玉（コケダマ）」を手作り。 その後、季節の枝物や美しい生花を使ってナチュラルな台座を組み、手作りの苔玉をスタイリッシュに飾る「モダン生け花」に挑戦します。長く楽しめるグリーンの癒やしと、今しか出会えない季節の生花の美しさを一緒に楽しみましょう。
開催概要
日時： 7月25日土曜日 正午〜午後１時半
器をご自身で用意される際の参加費： $55（植物の苗、苔、専用土、糸、枝物、季節の生花などの材料費込み）
器とプラスチック剣山も込みの参加費： $65
お持ちもの： 作品を飾るための「水盤、または浅めの器（お皿など）」、ハサミを各自ご持参ください。お洋服が汚れる心配があれば、エプロンもご持参ください。
含まれるもの
苔玉用のミニ観葉植物
苔玉作りの専門資材（プレミアムな土、苔、固定用の糸など）
生け花用の枝物と季節のお花
当日は作業用手袋と、テーブルが汚れないトレイをご用意します。
