☀️ The sun filled the studio, and our Ballet Dolls came to life!🩰

Our Junior Intensive Summer Program dancers have been working hard on the “Ballet Doll Variation” from “The Nutcracker”. For some, this is their very first classical variation. For others, it's their first time performing one en pointe.

Step by step, they're building confidence, mastering new choreography, and embracing every challenge with excitement and joy. Every small step is a milestone, ✨ We couldn't be prouder of their progress! 🩰✨

This year’s performance was filled with so many “firsts” for every dancer — from our youngest students to our adults — along with countless memories, challenges, and breakthroughs:

First time stepping onto the stage, first time dancing en pointe, first solo variation, first time having our own Open Stage, first time holding the final turns steadily, first quick costume changes, first time standing on stage to receive awards, first time completing every movement with confidence and excellence…

A very special thank you to our volunteer parent for capturing so many precious and shining moments on stage for us. ❤️

This summer, Renell Yu will be focusing on Yu Xin Ballet’s ✨Junior Intensive, Pro Intensive, Friday Buddy Club, as well as Saturday Ballet 3/4 and pointe training. We’d love for students who are preparing for next year’s YAGP season—or anyone looking to strengthen their ballet and contemporary technique—to join us for our summer intensives 🩰

Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Yu Xin Ballet Students Earn Summer Program Acceptance and Scholarships

Every small achievement matters, and each one is truly meaningful ❤️. As the 2025-2026 YAGP competition wraps up, some students have received acceptances or scholarships to summer intensives, while others are still pushing forward on their journey. These moments of encouragement inspire the kids to stay focused and keep working hard ☺️

💌 Isabella Gao, age 10, competed for the first time this year and was accepted to the Colorado Ballet Summer Intensive in the U.S. (Her acceptance email was accidentally tossed as spam by her mom… and then rescued 😂)

💌 Renell Yu, age 12, received acceptances from several U.S. ballet summer programs, along with invitations to YGP Nervi festival in Italy and summer program in Italy 🇮🇹. She was also awarded short-term scholarships from three schools:

🇺🇸 Colorado Ballet — full short-term scholarship
🇺🇸 Oklahoma City Ballet — short-term & summer intensive scholarship
🇨🇦 Alberta Ballet (Canada) — short-term scholarship
