Another Episode of “Real talk, Real dancers.” with Haley H.

A few weeks before The Open World Swing Dance Championships Haley had reach a point that another run was not the answer for moving forward on their routine but her mindset was still wanting to move forward, so she had to give herself permission to adjust.

Steve covers this in his book “ In Step, The inner Choreography of Your Performance Mindset.”

Chapter 10 ‘The journey of the ups and downs’, the progress is not a straight line. It climbs with peaks and valleys breaks through and sits back. The sooner you understand embrace this reality the stronger, more re-silent, and more fulfilled you will become. Navigating their emotional terrain of growth is a skill, and like any skill, it can be trained

So giving yourself permission to adjust is essential.
