Summer starts at Senior Safari! Join us Thursday, June 25 from 9 to 10 a.m. for zoo tours, lawn games, honey tastings and more activities designed just for older adults.

Senior Safari, presented by Kaiser Permanente, is a joint program of Happy Hollow Park & Zoo and Happy Hollow Foundation, where visitors ages 50 and up take over Happy Hollow and enjoy fresh air and exercise. To welcome all older adults in our community, Senior Safari admission and parking are free, and guests are welcome to stay for the day after gates open to the general public.

🎭The spotlight is still open! 🎤✨

Happy Hollow’s Community Summer Stage Series is continuing to welcome submissions from local, family friendly performers and groups. We still have performance spots available and would love to showcase more talent from our community!

Bands, dance groups, theater ensembles, cultural performers and other creative acts are encouraged to apply. Come share your talent, connect with our guests and help bring extra fun to the Happy Hollow stage this summer!

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first serve basis. Please pick only one date from the available weekends below. You can choose one, two or all three of the performance times for your selected day.

The available dates for performances are below (Please choose only one date):
July 2 – 5
July 23 – 26
July 30 – August 2
Performance Times:
11 a.m.
1 p.m.
3 p.m.

Starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, Coventry & Kaluza is back at Happy Hollow! Check out this clip from their run last summer. Award-winning circus comedians Coventry & Kaluza bring a fun-filled show packed with juggling, acrobatics, music, comedy, high-number hula hooping and even amazing dog tricks. It’s interactive entertainment the whole family will love. Catch this incredible act from Thursday, June 18 through Sunday, June 28 on the Meadow Stage. Performances run Thursdays through Sundays at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (no shows Monday through Wednesday). Don’t miss this limited-time engagement! Best of all, the show is included with your Happy Hollow admission.

Educational Enrichment for all! 🦎 The school-year has come to an end and our nonprofit partner, Happy Hollow Foundation, wrapped the latest season of the Title I Educational Enrichment program. The foundation covers admission, transportation and life science lessons for these students who often have never visited Happy Hollow, even though they live within 5-10 miles. Your support of the foundation empowers the next generation of conservationists!
