BFF Member Morning Frequently Asked Questions

When is BFF Member Morning?
BFF Member Morning takes place Saturday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the park and zoo opens to the public.

Who can attend?
Happy Hollow Members and Summer Pass holders are invited to attend.

What should Members bring?
Adult Members should bring a valid photo ID and Membership card for entry.

Can Happy Hollow Members bring a guest?
Yes! Each Happy Hollow Membership includes one complimentary guest for BFF Member Morning.

Can Summer Pass holders bring a guest?
Summer Pass holders can only unlock the complimentary BFF guest benefit by upgrading to a Happy Hollow Membership on or before Member Morning.

Ready to spot Sonries? The wait is over! Sonries, Happy Hollow’s newest jaguar, is ready to meet guests and has been exploring his outdoor habitat at his own pace. While he continues getting comfortable in his new home, his care team has already learned a few of his favorite habits and hangout spots. Want your best chance at spotting him? Come feel like a kid again at Senior Safari! Older adults ages 50 and up are invited to take over Happy Hollow on Thursday, August 27 from 9 to 10 a.m. for zoo tours, lawn games, and more!

Senior Safari, presented by Kaiser Permanente, is a joint program of Happy Hollow Park & Zoo and Happy Hollow Foundation where seniors can get fresh air and exercise at Happy Hollow. Senior Safari admission and parking are free, and guests are welcome to stay for the day after gates open to the general public.

Parking update for August: No parking pass is required, simply park and enjoy your morning at Happy Hollow

Please note that Senior Safari is exclusively for adults 50 and older. Guests younger than 50 may enter Happy Hollow at 10 a.m. when the park and zoo opens to the public.

This position is responsible for the operations, safety and maintenance of Happy Hollow's rides, as well as the oversight of Guest Services operations. Happy Hollow is better with your BFF! On Saturday, Sept. 5, don't miss the 3rd Annual BFF Member Morning. Each Happy Hollow Member may bring one friend for FREE to enjoy an exclusive morning in the park before it opens to the public. One complimentary guest per Membership. Adult Members must present a valid Membership card and photo ID for entry.
Summer Pass holders are invited, too! Join us during Member Morning to experience one of the exclusive perks of being part of the Happy Hollow family. If you decide to upgrade your Summer Pass to a Happy Hollow Membership, you'll unlock year-round benefits like monthly Member Mornings, Member discounts, and more. Summer Pass holders receive admission for September’s Member Morning for themselves only. Summer Pass holders must upgrade on or before Member Morning to be able to bring a complimentary guest. The complimentary BFF guest benefit is exclusive to Happy Hollow Members.
