POV: A brand you actually wanted to try sends you a surprise šŸ¤āœØ

When Resiners reached out about a collaboration and this curing machine showed up at my door… I was genuinely excited! 🄹

As a handmade artist, anything that can make my workflow faster without compromising the finish immediately gets my attention.

So of course, I had to put it to the test with my pressed flower earrings. 🌸

Freebie? YES.
Excited? VERY.
But the real question is… does it actually work? šŸ‘€

Follow along for the next reel where I put it through my real TalkingThyme workflow!

This is what ā€œshop smallā€ looks like. šŸ„¹šŸ¤Ž

A market season full of conversations, connections, and these little moments—handing over something I made with my own hands to someone who chose to take it home.

Every purchase from a local market means so much more than a sale. It keeps a small business going, supports handmade art, and gives me another reason to keep creating. 🌿✨

If you’ve ever stopped at my table, bought something, shared my work, or sent someone my way—thank you. You’re part of this journey. 🫶

And if you see TalkingThyme at a local market this season… come say hi! You might just find your next favorite handmade piece. šŸ˜‰

This reaction is exactly why I do what I do. šŸ„¹šŸ¤

After weeks of preserving Abee’s wedding flowers and turning them into different keepsakes, she and her husband finally saw everything together at pickup.

The flowers they carried on their wedding day… now transformed into pieces they can keep forever. 🌸

Brides, don’t wait until after your wedding to think about your bouquet. Make preservation part of your wedding planning and even add it to your bridal registry. ✨

Plan ahead. Preserve intentionally. Keep the memories forever.

DM ā€œPRESERVEā€ to start your flower preservation journey.

Your wedding flowers deserve more than a vase. šŸ¤

For Abee, we transformed her wedding bouquet into a custom shadow box — carefully preserved and designed so these flowers can tell her love story for years to come. 🌸

Brides, think about flower preservation while planning your wedding — not after. Add it to your bridal registry, budget for it, and have a preservation plan ready before your big day. šŸ’

Your bouquet may last one day… but the memories can last forever.

DM ā€œPRESERVEā€ to start planning yours.

The part of ā€œmarket seasonā€ we don’t always talk about. šŸ¤

It’s honestly funny that I’m posting this reel after sharing a few reels about how to be successful at markets this season… because the last 3 weeks of events brought in little to no profit — some were barely break-even.

And you know what? That’s okay.

I’m not sharing this as a failure. I’m sharing it because I want to celebrate something much bigger: SHOWING UP.

Showing up when the crowd is small.
Showing up when sales aren’t coming.
Showing up when you’re questioning everything.
Showing up with a smile anyway. 🄹

Behind every small business you admire are days, weeks, and sometimes seasons that don’t make financial sense — but we keep going because we believe in what we’re building.

So if you’re a small business owner sitting in the same boat right now… I see you. šŸ‘šŸ¼

Here’s to every maker, artist, vendor and small business owner who keeps setting up that table, putting their heart into their work, and showing up anyway.

Your effort counts. Your courage counts. And one slow market does not define your business. šŸ¤

Keep going. We’ve got this. šŸ«¶šŸ¼

Watching ABEE’s wedding flowers slowly transform from fresh blooms into forever keepsakes šŸ¤šŸŒø

From carefully drying each flower to pouring layers of resin, these little coasters will carry a piece of her wedding day for years to come.

This is why I love bouquet preservation—you don’t have to say goodbye to your flowers. You can turn them into something beautiful, functional, and deeply sentimental. ✨

šŸ’ Getting married soon? Your bouquet deserves more than a few days in a vase.
šŸ“© DM me to reserve your bridal bouquet preservation spot.

Save this for your wedding planning & send it to a bride who needs to see this! šŸ¤

Want to actually make MORE money at your next craft fair? šŸ’°

It’s not just about having beautiful products—it’s about getting people to stop, look, engage… and remember you.

Try these:

1. MAKE YOUR TABLE INTERACTIVE šŸ‘€
Give people a reason to stop. A guessing game, lucky dip, giveaway, demo—or anything they can participate in—makes your booth memorable. I am usually found fixing beads to the earring pieces.

2. THINK UP, NOT JUST OUT šŸ“¦
Use risers, crates, shelves or boxes to create height. You’ll display more without overcrowding your table, and your products become easier to spot.

3. MAKE PRICES OBVIOUS šŸ’µ
Don’t make people ask, ā€œHow much is this?ā€ Clear pricing makes browsing easier and removes a barrier to buying.

4. MAKE SOMETHING IN FRONT OF THEM ✨
People LOVE watching the process. Whether you’re making jewelry, arranging flowers for the cards or packaging an order, your process becomes part of the experience—and a conversation starter.

5. GIVE THEM A REASON TO COME BACK šŸ“²
QR code, Instagram, email list, business card—whatever works for you. They may not buy today, but today’s ā€œI’ll think about itā€ can become next week’s sale.

And one more thing: DON’T JUST SELL THE PRODUCT—SELL THE STORY.
Tell people what makes it special, how you make it, why you started, or who it’s perfect for. People remember stories far longer than prices.

Craft fair vendors—what’s one thing that has actually helped you make more sales? šŸ‘‡
